These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Crib to Class LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Crib to Class," "we," "us"), which operates cribtoclass.com and its related pages, links and emails (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Crib to Class is (and isn't)

Crib to Class is a free online directory of licensed child care, preschools, elementary schools, camps and clubs in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties, Florida.
Crib to Class LLC is a separate business. It isn't a child-care provider, school, referral agency or government agency, and it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE), any school district or any listed program.
We don't inspect, license, rate, rank, review, endorse or recommend any provider or school. A listing, a "Claimed by provider" label, an "Openings confirmed" date or a future "Premium" or "Sponsored" label is not a statement about quality or safety.
The order of the free list never depends on payment or inspection results.

2. For parents: verify everything yourself (not legal advice)

Listing information comes from public government data (DCF's licensed-provider list and FLDOE's school directory), from programs' own websites, and from providers who update their listings. It can be out of date, incomplete or wrong.
Openings, prices, hours, ages served, schedules, school-choice and registration dates change often. Before you enroll, pay or rely on anything here, confirm directly with the provider, school or school district, and check the provider's licensing and inspection history with DCF.
Each child-care listing links to the provider's official record on DCF's CARES site. Crib to Class doesn't host or summarize inspection reports or violations, and the absence of information here means nothing. Read the official record.
Distances are estimates. For family child-care homes they're based on the ZIP code area.
Nothing on the Service is legal, medical, financial, tax or educational advice, and using it doesn't create any professional relationship. For questions about licensing, safety or your rights, contact DCF, your school district or a qualified professional.
You're responsible for choosing care for your child. Visit, ask questions and check references.

3. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). The Service isn't directed to children.

4. Rules for everyone

You agree not to:

give false information, impersonate anyone, or claim a listing you aren't authorized to manage;
post anything unlawful, defamatory, misleading, harassing or infringing, or that includes children's personal information;
scrape, copy or harvest the Service in bulk, or use automated means that burden it (ordinary search engine indexing is fine);
probe, attack or bypass the Service's security, claim links or rate limits;
use contact information from the Service to send spam or unsolicited marketing;
use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may limit, suspend or end access, or remove content, if we reasonably believe someone has broken these Terms.

5. For providers: claiming and updating a listing

Free means free. Your basic listing, claiming it and updating openings cost nothing. Paying is never required to be listed or to post openings.
Who may claim: only the owner, director or staff authorized to update the program's information. By claiming, you confirm you have that authority and that what you submit is accurate.
How claiming works: request a link. We check your details against the public DCF record. If your phone matches it, we send a private, one-click claim link (no password) by hand from cribtoclass@mail.grokbot.com. If you gave only a phone number, we call the phone number DCF lists for the program. We don't send texts. Claim links expire after 30 days. You can request a new one at any time. Keep your link private: anyone who has it can update your openings. Tell us right away if a link reaches the wrong person, and we can cancel it.
Camps, clubs and private schools not on the DCF list can ask to be listed or claimed. We review these requests by hand and may decline or edit them. Public and charter schools are run by their districts and can't be claimed. Send corrections by email.
What you can change: openings by age group, private notes to us and, for family child-care homes, whether your street address is shown (ZIP only by default). Licensing facts (name, address, phone, capacity, designations) come from DCF. To correct them, update your record with DCF, and our next data refresh will pick it up.
Keep it current. Openings show the date you confirmed them and turn gray after 30 days.
Your content: you keep ownership of what you submit. You give Crib to Class LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, format and share it on the Service and in related communications for as long as it's on the Service, plus a reasonable time to remove it.
Removal and edits: we may edit for format, or remove content that's inaccurate, unlawful or violates these Terms.
Emails: check-in emails are opt-in, and every one has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing never removes your free listing. We don't send text messages today.

6. Premium and Sponsored listings (coming soon)

Premium (listed at $19.99/month or $199.90/year) and Sponsored placements aren't available yet, and nothing can be bought today. Before any paid feature launches, we'll publish its price, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms, and you'll agree to them at checkout.

Billing, cancellation and refunds (Premium listings)

Premium is billed in advance by subscription at $19.99 per month or $199.90 per year (USD) through our payment processor, Stripe. Your card statement will show CRIBTOCLASS.COM. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Before an annual plan renews, we email a reminder.

Cancel anytime from the billing link in your receipt email, or by writing to cribtoclass@mail.grokbot.com. Cancellation stops future charges. Premium stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and then your listing goes back to the free Basic listing.

Monthly plans: no refunds or credits for partial months.

Annual plans: if you ask within 14 days of an annual charge (first purchase or renewal), we'll refund that charge in full. After 14 days, we don't give prorated refunds, but you keep Premium until the year ends.

Billing errors: we refund any duplicate or mistaken charge in full. Email us first; we answer within 2 business days.

Refunds go back to the original card and usually show up within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

7. Our content and public data

The Service's design, text, logo, the name "Crib to Class," and our compilation of listings belong to Crib to Class LLC. Underlying government data remains public and subject to its source agencies' terms. Stock photos are licensed from their owners and don't show listed programs. You may share links to listings and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Other uses need our written permission.

8. Links to other sites

We link to DCF, FLDOE, school districts and providers' websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRIB TO CLASS LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LICENSING STATUS OR AVAILABILITY OF ANY PROVIDER OR SCHOOL, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IS CURRENT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA LAW, CRIB TO CLASS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS AND AGENTS WON'T BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR CHOICE OF, OR DEALINGS WITH, ANY PROVIDER OR SCHOOL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ABOUT THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $50. Some laws don't allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits.

11. Indemnity

If you're a provider or other user who submits content, you agree to indemnify and hold Crib to Class LLC harmless from claims arising from content you submit, your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own misconduct.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing any claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally.

13. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted on the site and, for providers who opted in to email, sent by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them. We may change or discontinue the Service at any time.

14. Other terms

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about the Service (paid features will have their own checkout terms). If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms. We may transfer them in connection with a business transfer.
